Affinity Groups

Launched in the Fall of 2023 to help the PTA build meaningful relationships with groups at Kester who share a common ideology or interest.

Members of any community and their supporters are encouraged to meet and identify ways the PTA can support their engagement and help improve their overall school experience.

Black Affinity Group (KBAG)

Provides an opportunity for black students and families to engage and build community.

Past events: Holiday potluck, Black History Night, meetups at the park, bringing Black authors to speak to classrooms

MIXT Heritage

Launched in Spring 2025 to explore and share our unique cultural blends through the magic of food, music and gatherings. We look forward to creating fun experiences for families to learn both traditional and fusion recipes, form lasting friendships within our unique Kester family, and deepen each child’s awareness of self through their blend of cultures.
